Stammtisch Graubünden as Guest Wine & Dine with Thomas Lampert

Graubünden as guest at Mews Table – an evening full of craftsmanship, origin, and authentic stories.

For me, Graubünden is a piece of home: a place with deeply rooted tradition, honest craftsmanship, innovation, yet with impressive calm. This is exactly the feeling that rookie winemaker Thomas Lampert from Maienfeld brings to Mews House.

He talks about daily life among the vines and seasons – and pours his wines for us, shaped by the unique terroir of the Bündner Herrschaft.

Weingut Lampert – Maienfeld

In the shadow of the majestic Falknis, the home mountain of Maienfeld, a family tradition is rooted that goes back to the time of Markus Lampert’s grandfather. Over generations, the Maienfeld vines have been tended with dedication.

Markus and his wife Sonja ran the winery with calm and constancy – supported by their five children. Since 2023, responsibility lies in the hands of Thomas Lampert, who continues the family work with the same passion.

On about 4 hectares of vineyard area – of which 80% is Pinot Noir – wines of exceptional elegance, freshness, and finesse are created. The assortment is complemented by Chardonnay, Riesling-Silvaner, as well as Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot – perfectly adapted to the Bündner Herrschaft.

Each vintage bears the signature of the terroir – and Thomas’s vision: to create authentic wines with character. After 18 years of commitment to his dream, his dedication is now reflected in every sip.

Since the 2023 vintage, the wines also present themselves in a new guise.
